At Fluidmaster, we are excited to enter a new era of development as we build new business and production facilities in the Prestranek business zone in the Municipality of Postojna, Slovenia. This step marks a significant milestone in our history, as it will greatly enhance our operational capabilities and unite our vision of growth, innovation, and sustainable development.

Complete Sanitary Solutions

Fluidmaster is a family-owned company headquartered in the USA, with manufacturing facilities in Slovenia, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Turkey, and China. As a global company, we continuously invest in expansion while recognizing the strategic importance of the European market. In the future, our European production will take place at the new location in Prestranek, enabling us to achieve even greater innovation, advanced technologies, and sustainable solutions.

New Facilities for new Challenges

The new business facility will measure 110 x 120 meters and offer 13,200 m² of net usable space.

Following the relocation to Prestranek, all employees currently working at our existing facilities in Postojna and Neverke will be unified at one location, allowing for better organization and increased work efficiency. We currently employ nearly 200 people, and with new planned projects, we also expect to grow our workforce.

Construction Progress and Timeline

Construction is proceeding according to plan – mechanical and electrical installations are currently underway, followed by the landscaping of the surrounding area. We expect to receive the occupancy permit approximately one month after construction is completed, likely in July. The move into the new facility is planned for August and September, enabling a modern and functional working environment.

New Traffic Arrangement

To ensure smooth traffic around the new business zone, a new traffic layout has been implemented. A new access road has been built, and a left-turn lane has been added, which will allow safer and easier access for employees, business partners, and logistics services.

Commitment to Sustainable Development

At Fluidmaster, we place great emphasis on sustainable solutions. Waste heat from production will be reused for heating the building and sanitary water. Rainwater will be used to flush toilets, reducing the consumption of drinking water.

We also encourage environmentally friendly mobility. Charging stations for electric vehicles have been installed next to the new building, and employees and visitors will have access to the POSBikes bicycle-sharing system.

In the next phase, we plan to install a 2 MW solar power plant on the roof of the facility, contributing to our energy independence and reducing our environmental impact.
